A client map made for an adviser.
A custom tool a financial adviser uses to get to know a new client. It asks short questions, one at a time, and ends with a one-page picture to keep. A home dashboard shows the adviser where each lead stands.
The problem
Getting to know a new client takes a long conversation, and the answers need to end up somewhere useful.
What the mapper does
The adviser and the client talk through it on a phone. Each screen asks one thing: property, what may be left behind, nominations, a will, children, assets outside Singapore, and a lasting power of attorney. Approximate answers are fine, and "Not sure" is always an option.
How we built it
We start with a call: the adviser tells us what they do by hand today and what the end product should be. We go away and draw a free draft mockup, so they can see it before anything is built. Once they approve the idea, we go through the details in depth and build the first prototype. Then we sit down together and refine it until they are happy.
What the adviser gets
A one-page picture titled "Here's what we discussed", with each area in its own colour and its status in plain words. The adviser can send it on or export it, then pick up the next step from a home dashboard. About 1 hour saved for each new client.
After the first meeting, the adviser needs one place to see what is waiting, how work is going and where each lead stands. The adviser had tried software from another custom developer that had not listened to the requirements. It had too much friction to use, and they dropped it within weeks.

What it shows
- Needs you now. Reminders that are due, or a calm "all caught up".
- Results. Revenue, and how many fact-finds and wills are done.
- Where your leads are. Each stage of the pipeline, and a holding area for people who haven't replied yet.
- Recent changes. Moved someone by mistake? Undo it here.
